We Stand with the Bible

Our Beliefs

1

The Holy Scriptures, both the Old and New Testaments, are given by God. Holy men of God spoke as they were moved by the Holy Ghost. The Bible is inerrant and preserved by God. It is the supreme authority in all matters of doctrine and life. We only use the King James Bible.

2

Jesus Christ is the only begotten Son of the Father, who exists eternally as Almighty God and was born of a virgin. He lived a sinless life, and His death on the cross was both sufficient and vicarious for the sins of the whole world. After atoning for sins with His own blood, He ascended to heaven with a glorified body after His resurrection. Today, He sits at the right hand of the Father and intercedes for the faithful.

3

Salvation is by grace through faith. Christ's substitutionary death on the cross was all that was necessary to bring sinful, depraved man back to God. Every person must be born again to enter the kingdom of God. God accomplishes regeneration whenever a sinner places his trust in the finished work of Jesus Christ for the salvation of his soul.

4

The New Testament church is an autonomous, called-out assembly of baptized (immersed) believers who have voluntarily joined together to fulfill God's commission. The local church preaches the gospel to the lost, baptizes them, and teaches them to obey all that our Savior has commanded. It is the task of the Christian church to raise up faithful believers who will be able to teach others.  The Lord Jesus places shepherds over the church whose job it is to protect (from sin and false teaching), guide (biblical counsel), and feed (preaching and teaching) the sheep.

5

God created the heaven and the earth about 6,000 years ago (calculation based on Bible testimony). All plants, animals, and stars were created by the Word of God (Jesus) in six days.

6

The Creator is one Being. There is only one God. And He is complex, that is, He consists of Father, Son, and Holy Spirit. All three are one. This is difficult for some to understand, but it is the clear testimony of Scripture and the blessed experience of every child of God.
